Week 1: Foundations of Fitness
Meet our coaches and get familiar with the gym and the movements you’ll be using in group classes. If you’ve done CrossFit before, that’s great, we’ll focus on finding ways you can improve and challenge yourself. New to CrossFit? Don’t worry, our On-Ramp/Foundations course will teach you how to jump, squat, pull, and press with safe, effective technique so you can be comfortable with each and every movement. No matter where you are on your CrossFit journey, we’re committed to providing a safe environment and providing proper instruction so that you can avoid injury. Don’t worry if you need extra time here, everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace.
Week 2: Get Into the Groove
Communicate with our coaches about your goals and start attending classes that work for your schedule. Don’t be afraid to show up early, ask (a lot of) questions, cheer on your peers, and feel free to stick around and socialize after the workout – while being respectful of those participating and coaching the next class, of course! Our community means the world to us and we want you to be a part of it.
Week 3: Be Ready to Sweat
Now you’re getting acclimated and sweating alongside some new friends! Take in the community and see how it feels to belong to a group of people who are on their own or similar journey, but all with the end goal of getting fitter. If you surround yourself with others who have achieved your goals, you are more likely to succeed, and there’s no better place to surround yourself with those types of people than in our group classes.
Week 4: Keep Going!
Let’s be honest, you’re mostly likely going to be sore at this point, and as long as you’re listening to your coaches and your body, that’s ok! Your body is adapting to your new level of fitness. Just one month of consistent effort and you’ll start seeing results. We’ll be here along the way to check-in on you to ensure you’re on your way to achieving your goals and keeping you accountable.
Beyond: A Happier, Healthier You
After a month or two of steady work, you’ve probably done things you never thought you would or could. You might be getting stronger, faster, more athletic, or maybe you’re just handling stress better now that you have an outlet. Whatever it is to you, it’s time to celebrate your new lifestyle of reaching milestones, pushing toward your potential, achieving PRs (personal records), and so much more!
