I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and moved to the United States when I was 14 years old. I was never an active individual until I joined the Badminton Team in high school. I started going to the big box gym to workout then, and I thought I was in good shape. One day, a good friend of mine introduced me to CrossFit, and I thought I would give it a shot. Within the first few weeks of class, I realized I fell in love with CrossFit. (Well, I also realized how NOT in shape I was). Besides the fact that CrossFit keeps the day-to-day workout interesting, I found the community at the gym is amazing; it keeps me motivated, and makes me want to challenge myself to the next level. After doing CrossFit for 7+ years, I decided I want to build a bigger, stronger, and better fitness community… which is the reason I became a CrossFit gym owner and coach.
